Abstract Synthesis of new Fe(III), Co(II), Ni(II), and Cu(II) complexes two azo ligands; 1-(phenyldiazenyl) naphthalene-2-ol (sudan orange R, HL 1 ), sodium 2-hydroxy-5-[( E )-(4-nitrophenyl) diazenyl]benzoate (alizarin yellow GG, 2 ) have been reported. Stoichiometries 1:2 1:3 (M:L) the synthesized were approved by total-reflection X-ray fluorescence technique (TXRF) elemental analyses. The geometry (octahedral square planar) was typified various spectroscopic, thermal, magnetic techniques. ESR spectroscopy showed that are different isotropic rhombic symmetries with existence Cu–Cu ions interaction. TGA, DTA, DSC analyses supported multi-stage thermal decomposition mechanisms, where breakdown is ended formation metal oxide in most cases. Moreover, chemical reactivity modeling using density functional theory (DFT) method B3LYP/6–31 basis set, more biologically active than their precursor ligands. calculated lipophilicity character for range 33.8–37.5 eV. Docking results revealed high scoring energy [Fe(HL 3 ].H O complex moderate inhibition strength [Cu(L versus 1bqb, 3t88, 4esw proteins. Ultimately, extent biological effectiveness endorsed experimentally against four microbial strains. guidelines toxicological investigations. Graphical

Potentiometric and Spectroscopic Studies of Sulfonamide Azo-Dye Complexes with some Transition Metal Ions and Uranium
Molecular structure of the azo-dye derived from sulfonamide was synthesized. The elucidation of ligand and complex structures were studied by electronic, infrared and 1H NMR spectroscopies. Proton-ligand constants of sulphonamid azo-derivatives and the stability constant of Mo (III), VO (II), UO2 (II) and Co (II) metal ions with sulfonamide azodye derivatives have been determined potentiometric...
متن کاملBiological studies of a novel azo based Heterocyclic Schiff base and its transition metal complexes
A new heterocyclic Schiff base ligand bis(2-(pyridin-2-ylimino)phenyl)-4,4'-(diazene-1,2diyl)dibenzoate (BPPD, L) and its metal complexes with divalent transition metal ions viz., Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) have been synthesized and characterized through IR, NMR and elemental analysis. The ligand and its complexes have been screened for the antibacterial activities towards bacteria Staph...
متن کاملSynthesis and characterization of some transition metal complexes of Schiff base derived from 2,4 - dihydroxybenzaldehyde
Abstract New N2O2 type Schiff base has been designed and synthesized by condensing 2,4 dihydroxy benzaldehyde and α-naphthylamine in ethanol. Solid metal complexes of the schiff base with Cu(II), Ni(II) and Zn(II) metal ion were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, magnetic susceptibility, molar conductance, IR, UV-Vis and ‘H NMR spectral studies. The data shows that the c...

this work is presented in five parts. in the first part preparation of the starting complex [pt(c^n)cl(dmso)], 1, in which c^n = n(1),c(2?)-chelated, deprotonated 2-phenylpyridine, and dmso = dimethylsulfoxide, and its reaction with 1 equiv of the biphosphine ligands bis(diphenylphosphino)amine, dppa, or bis(diphenylphosphino)methane, dppm, to give the complex [pt(c^n)cl(dppa)], 2, or [pt(c^n)c...
15 صفحه اولMetal (II) Complexes of Fluconazole: Thermal, XRD and Cytotoxicity Studies
We report thermal, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and cytotoxicity studies of complexes of fluconazole (FCZ) with Cu (II), Fe(II), Cd(II), Co(II), Ni(II), and Mn(II). From XRD measurements, FCZ and its metal complexes were identified as polycrystalline. Marked differences in the X-ray patterns of drug and its metal complexes revealed that the complexes are indeed different compounds and not just the m...
